Josean Jacobo (pronounced Ho-see-ann) is a pianist, producer, singer and songwriter from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and started writing his own music, performing at international jazz festivals like “Barranquijazz Festival”, “Panamá Jazz Festival”, “Guadlop Festival”, “Dominican Republic Jazz Festival”, and local venues. Taking inspiration from the afro rhythms of his native Dominican Republic, Josean is fusing jazz with more popular music styles of Dominican music, Neo Soul and electronic dance.
